Ormonde College offers the following Post Leaving Certificate courses:
F.E.T.A.C. Level 5 Course in Childcare
The Course is designed for those who wish to acquire the knowledge and develop the skills needed to be competent childcare workers.
F.E.T.A.C. Level 5 Course in Community Care
The Course is to enable students to acquire the knowledge and develop the skills needed to provide care and/or health services for a variety of individuals and groups in the home and/or community.
Diploma in Beauty Therapy and Electrical Epilation
One year ITEC course provides both practical and theoretical training in all aspects of beauty therapy.
F.E.T.A.C. Level 5 Course in Nursing Studies
This is a one year course which provides education and training for those considering a career in the health care/social care area.
F.E.T.A.C. Level 5 Course in Business Studies/Secretarial
This is a one year course in Secretarial Skills leading to qualifications in subjects such as computers, bookkeeping and general office skills.
F.E.T.A.C. Level Print Journalism with Photography
Students are trained in everyday skills required to report on a wide range of areas, from sports to court reporting and from local authorities to general news.
F.E.T.A.C. Art Level 5
Although not a portfolio course, students will have the opportunity to compile one if they want to progress to Diploma or Degree courses.
