Commercial Design Consultancy

Anyone involved in planning a design or construction project must have a firm understanding of project management skills if the project is to run smoothly AND if the end result is to turn out as originally envisioned. This course teaches the skills necessary for running any project or team production, it demystifies the jargon and includes a selection of templates.
Lighting Design
Lighting design is ordinarily a highly technical and specialised subject, and this is the first course of its kind to offer training specifically for residential lighting design. Subjects covered include: Lighting effects, bulbs & fittings, room by room analysis, Technicalities of lighting, switches & wiring and creating electrical plans & specifications.
Curtains & Soft Furnishing Design
This is the first course of its kind to offer specific training for curtain design as opposed to curtain making. It was developed for training sales staff and interior designers who must have a full understanding of fabric and curtain construction, measuring-up and calculating fabric requirement, and has become a popular training tool in the soft furnishings industry.
Landscape & Garden Design
The garden is no longer just an extension of our homes, but it is an important area in itself and successful garden designers can create an environment where plants, building materials, colour and form all work together to create a space that is stimulating and enjoyable for everyone. This course is an intensive introduction to gardening, and a follow-on diploma course is currently under development by Limperts Academy of Design.
