A variety of courses involving psychology, business and hospitality - all of which have a practical approach to education. American College also offers English language classes to students of varied levels. This includes experiential as well as theoretical education. Many courses offer placements in business connected with your area of study as well as practical coursework. WHERE IS AMERICAN COLLEGE DUBLIN?

The College is located on Merrion Square in six beautifully restored Georgian houses including the former home of Oscar Wilde.
FULL-TIME COURSE BENEFITS
Study in Florida. One of the benefits that this college can bring is the opportunity in full time courses to transfer to Florida to continue to study students may study for a semester at Lynn University in Florida. The qualifications are automatically transferred once the student returns. International placements and summer employment can also be organised in Florida. Most courses include a placement for students to get practical experience.


BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance
3 years


This programme allows students a considerable choice of career options and enables them to appreciate the wider context within which accounting operates through access to a range of business studies subjects. The programme offers many exemptions from the examinations of the professional bodies and is specifically targeted at students
who wish to pursue a career in accountancy within industry or the financial sector.

BA (Hons) in Business and Information Technology

The BA (Hons) in Business and Information Technology provides the graduate with a thorough understanding of information technology and the part it plays in the business environment. Students are taught skills in research methodologies and apply these skills in a major IT research project. The capstone course of the programme sees the student placed in an industry internship, in which the classroom activities over the preceding three years are applied and developed in a
structured work placement.

Diploma in Hospitality Management
2 years


This is a full-time programme designed to prepare students for careers in hotel and hospitality management. By combining both academic and practical training, it represents a comprehensive preparation programme for students to enable them to enter the industry with confidence on course completion. Accredited by the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the diploma is delivered in 4 semesters; in semester 3 students complete a supervised work placement in the hotel industry, with credits accumulated over his period added to their final grade.
